I wish I could say I know you,
Distant in your fear,
Distance in your face;
Gently passing away, I hear you
Passing me by
Taste/touch/sensation
What more could I pry
From your empty hand?
Teach me to fly,
Open my soul and soar away
Fleeing all the pain I raise
Fleeing all the fear you faced
Fleeing our simplest equation:
One plus one
Equaled us.
