Endless Sleep (Free verse) by WithoutLife Why is it that I have to wake up?
Leaving the thing I desire throughout the day.
Endless sleep makes me calm.
Breathless as my spirit floats away.
My soul is at peace with no emotions at all.
When I'm awake my sorrow fills me
Pain stabs me, coming one after another.
Flowing tears flood the room.
Happiness and love, then follows the pain.
Sleeping now never knowing them.

..so basically you are sad/mad about waking up in the morning, so you go back to sleep and become happy again? I feel the same way... everyone does. haha
I'm saying that I'm depressed a lot when I'm awake and I rather not feel any of the pain and stay in dream land forever (sorta like dying)
ah, makes more of a "sirious" sense.. hm.. well, that makes the poem even better!
Know how you feel... but thats just life right.
