in the eye of the stone dragon: (Free verse) by Sapphire
leathery flap of wing beats against my heart give to me a halo of stars circle my head in a crown of sorrow bleed me of my soul o' harrowed one bite, and taste bitter of me are you able? are you capable? are you worthy of want? breathe in the fire of pained desire lick my wounds with your salted tongue make me feel real while you kill my soul

Down the ladder: ever always:

capable stumbles after able ... both by syllable and ... what is the difference twixt cap(able)? Overall, this has a stronger impression on me. Though somehow several lines seem cliche, they all twine together beautifully.

Well this is erotic but the salted tongue thing is too comical.
