Is this life real? (Free verse) by singinkygal Life goes on
time doesn't wait.
Is there such thing as control
or is it all left up to fate?
How about true love or total happiness?
Those of us in love would say absolutely yes.
How about purpose or do we make our own?
Should we wait and see or will it ever be known?
Do we really choose our life's direction the path we want to take, or is
it someone else's plan the choices that we make?
Is this life real or are we in someone else's dream
if so what happens when they wake?
Of course its real
hmmmm or so it seems.

Is this life real sounds like some innanity from a j-lo song too.
Aside from this though, I certainly like the fluid phrasing.
