To Mourn the Loss of an Old Friend (Free verse) by GregDeEgg
I'm sad and I can't smile because she's gone and can't come back. My skill is dead my whim is spent my effort she took with her to wherever she went. In weeks I'll return and find new joy but hers is lost-- spilt when the day turned dark and my head turned away.

Up the ladder: Waiting In The Shadows
Down the ladder: HURRICANE!
