Walls so slight (Free verse) by donmiguel1960
Resting on the sand near the edge of the waives, lies a delicate seashell, as the dark ancient graves Walls so slight, spiral in design a shell of a life’s treasures, colors so divine. Gentle pillows of white pearl, line the abode So smooth and appealing with beauty bestowed . A glorious dwelling of sculpture and beauty, vacant coats of armor, with unfulfilled duty. A protective refuge from life’s endless blows, with the splendor of beauty, of a dark garden rose. No resident to inherit this home so yearning, no dreams to fulfill, with an emptiness burning. Inviting to all that gaze at its love, but a home just for one, a soft gentle glove. Waiting for passion to complete from within, with that one distant hope, then life can begin.

Down the ladder: Stranger
