Damned No More (Free verse) by PoolSh4rk
How hard it is my journey goes, A destination always uphill, Lurking behind me, my foes, With one mission: To kill. But kill me, they will not, With the help of a special few, Just trying to make me hot, They will see me, the new. With the help of those behind my back, Pushing me up the road, There won’t be a need to pick up my sack, As there’s no train to board. I may not have the best attitude, But let me offer my gratitude, For those who cared for me the most, My appreciation to those.

Up the ladder: # 2
Down the ladder: Rusty knife to the kidney
