garden spite (Free verse) by skaskowski
With absolute certainty it's time for such endeavors, I rip down the garden gate and beckon forth my neighbors. Pick! Eat! Till and toil, or simply sit and stare awhile. What you don't take the rabbits will, and fences make me ill.

Up the ladder: Why?
Down the ladder: Country Song

Start with "I rip down the gate . . ." But for what reason you want to do this I can't see.

for awhile i thought this was about new jersey - the garden state... but yes, the first two lines seem unnecessary.
