Home (Lyric) by Yatasuma
It’s cold outside, but the fire brings a tear to my eye I could freeze for years but still be warm at heart My fingers might be cold to the touch but deeper…. Much deeper in the hell of my soul a fire burns The sun is blistering on my back as I toil away In the fields I’ve worked all day at the crack of the whip My feet are blistered and my arms are falling off But my back will never break and my head will never fall King of flesh, lord of bones, bring me home to where I know Let me fall through the cracks, let my name be erased I want to go where no one knows and be alone in my thoughts The world could fall and the clouds could burn as long as I’m here With nothing but a chair table lamp and bed I’d stay forever The hot would be killed and the cold would be stricken away I could melt into obscurity along with the days of the past I’d walk on water to see the day that my little place would come to be
