Prophecy (Free verse) by New Life Drug
Walking through a light. I never want to leave. Eyes, lit like fire, Lit like life, it's all I see. Stay... It burned through holes Tore crooked, and cinged straight Burned straight through thirty lives. Yet a beckoning not wants me, to return. Stay... Waking up to this is never dreaming. It's flying. It's dying. Close the lids but tears open the gates. And gates to the soul burn faster... I feel a wind of electricity. Somehow it is clear this is all I want to see. This is all death lets me be. Half is on another side. Half is light, and murder is life. Stay... The message you will hear. The message we all recieve, will not be noticed until we kill mortality. Until we lose track of final infedelity. Until we crash into two doors that open. We are safe. We stay. This final moment I've been waiting for. So bright. And I realize, there is no such thing as life. Stay...

Up the ladder: mr.oates' surrender
Down the ladder: Dignity

If you are thirteen, did you right
your first poem in your mother's womb? Perhaps you should have stayed there, there is no such thing as life. Stay.
