swamp of devils (Free verse) by crwncka1
lost in the shallow swamp of fear, down under in the deep dark land, the place I call my home, where all I see and hear, are violent sounds of evilness, that soulless monster creatures, that lurk within this suffocating, hell hole of rage, where I stand silently in place, sweat pouring off me, but laughing out loud, at this three ring circus, of devils within battling it out, not with themselves but others, not realizing all their hate, will never make a difference, as no matter how many wars, you come out on top of, this ton of bricks I see coming, that only my Xray vision may see, will surely come crashing down, right on their fucking heads, and just as the coin has two sides, you always lose as many as you win, so with that now in mind, I now scream out in a bloody rage, that is heard echoing though out, this vast wasteland of hell, to stop all this stupid shit, if not surely these bricks of mine, will give their lives, the wake up call their hearts, are crying out loud for

Up the ladder: To Mouse and Reason
Down the ladder: Digging A Grave

This poem would be a perfect companion piece to the sound of a turd trying to pull itself back together the day after a relentlessly pounding rain storm.
