the awakened raven (work in progress!) (Free verse) by crwncka1
I tell of this inner raven, this inner demonic presence
the raven is of course, famously quoted 'nevermore'
I wont speak of that, but my inner raven has been awakened
it has been awakened in from the darkest depth of my soul
this black bird of mythological legend
has forever awakened, forever staring
with that red glare that has made me so aware
so aware of my inner self, for it was this raven I tell of
this raven that came from depths of nowhere
out of the the darkest reach of my soul
somewhere down there, in the ever dark void
this black bird that folklore calls "evil"
emerged and came forth as I tell of
it came forth out of the darkest reaching shadows of my soul
from the very inner core is where the raven lifted
as the wind from the west sets you free, evermore!
this black raven bird I only became aware of
when the blackened night forever became no more
when the shadows from it where lifted in the dawn light
as light finally shined down from the heavens
and this creature of mine I finally came into focus
as the shadows where rising from my soul
the shadows that stretched all the way down to the depth
to the very depth of my core being
and it was only then did these shadows give way
when this black bird awakened in me from the very core
from the very blackened abyss center of my soul
and this raven of mine finally emerged
and no longer is a burden to me
never again known as the wicked black bird of agony
for it is now just a black bird like any other
wind from the west sets you free, evermore!
the raven has been awakened!
this black bird of shadows is forever gone
as no longer will you cease to cause me grief
as I now see clearly though your presence
that red glare your eyes so ominously stare
that your just a black bird
just a black bird that has now emerged
emerged from the depth of my soul
the raven I tell you that i' am now aware
as my sprit has brought you forth from the darkness
and commands you to fly away bird of myth
the wind from the west is calling you
it picks you up, as your now flown away
away from me, I say
flown away from me, evermore!

if...
brith=suffering,grief, life is to die
death=celebration,divine,to the great unknown
funny how this got twisted up in mainly relgious thinking, sadism....
when their both exactly the same just different ends of a cycle?
dont get me wrong here...
grief= suffering a loss of someone in your life, mainly, which does absolutely nothing but make things worse... you cannot bring the dead back, so feeling this can do nothing postive.. what every victim loves to leech onto
mouring= memory of the lost one, feelings directed toward them, not back to yourself, the selfish grieving way
