pErFeCt pAiN (Ode) by William Delacroix
i suppose i might like to claw out all their eyes, and into the sockets shove something sharp, like nails or a router. then cut off their hands with something cold, so the arteries don't cauterize. and all the while my beautiful cherry blossom would watch me, the corner of her mouth curved upward in a smile. o the beauty of their perfect pain! she cannot resist it. together we'd set the walls ablaze and make love amidst the flames, her impossibly white flesh the same tone as her dress. her lips a pair of scarlet petals, her eyes and hair a taste of night. one of bach's symphonies in my head, i would time my orgasm at the exact instant when the violins crescendo.... afterwards i believe i would drag something jagged, like a shard of glass, down their spines, and peel off their skins. then collect their severed heads and build a sculpture which i would burn. ketsueki wa namida o arau yo.

Up the ladder: Mercury
Down the ladder: Strung Out On Sunlight

I read an article recently about the use of Bach as accompaniment to violent imagery in films. Did you see that too?
I like the burning sculpure idea and would like more details of that. Might I suggest a guilotine for the hands.
I have to reserve my vote until you tell me what that last line means (and what language it is). I only speak English and only just barely.

It's Japanese: "Blood washes tears away."
Can't say I've read the article, but I think Bach goes well with violence, since he's so unpredictable; he'll be all calm and serene one moment, then get carried away like a maniac. I wonder if he was bipolar.
PS: I like the name.

Ah. An unfermented wine with a sweet finish. Now that's a twist.
See "Bach and Hollywood's bad guys" by Scott Timberg Los Angeles Times (reprinted in the Vancouver Sun Tuesday, August 26, 2003. I knew I had that article hangin' around. I hope it serves you.

The imagry is wonderful, the passion deadly, and the verse completely beautiful. 10 from me my friend. May I aspire to your skill.
