Reminders... (Free verse) by loneshadow29 They plague me every moment
tearing my world apart
taunting me with great joy
knowing I long for such moments
but alas, it cannot be so
to see an angelic beauty pass
blessing all with her heavenly light
basking in her beauty
reminding me every moment
of what I will never possess
two lovers in soft embrace
engulfed in the love they share
to see love's splendor
reminding me always
of what I shall never find
friends and family
the looks of joy
upon each and every face
content with their lives
reminding me once more
of what I will never truly feel
Every moment I ask God
why can't that be me
but no answer comes to me
only grim reminders
what lies ahead
leaving a trail of lonely shadows
and shattered dreams
only reminders
of what will never be

it's the same, but less sad, at 2 p.m.
I can feel it. Been that and had those feelings. Hurts to see the one you want more than anything walk away and out of your life. Hurts even more when you know they want the same things you want just can't have them. Reasons for not being able to have them due to the time of meeting in life. Such as both heading to different states for college. My heart feels for the pain and love which you speek of. Keep on writing and good luck. (Was giving 7 but here's 8 because I felt the pain spoke about.)
