Aftershock

The pain in my heart cannot be beat, I lost my love the one I owe my life to. With that look she let me go, Breaking my heart ever so. Before I knew it everything went black, Deep in meditation I mended what I could Of my heart and soul. But she left an empty space in my heart That only time could hear. I understood her reasoning, Though she wasn't completely correct. She mistakes my shyness As a one sided conversation. I will never forget her love. She will be in my heart forever
