Lincolnshire (Free verse) by longships
Looking out over Lincolnshire from atop the cemetery hill, The skies clear and blue with a few clouds on the horizon. You took the container with tears in eyes, Scattered your dear friend's ashes across the world, There was none more suited for this task than you, I was proud of you that day, I loved you that day.

a little weak on the poetic side (I know I suffer from the same thing). Seems like more of a quick narrative. I dunno, just my opinion.

This doesn't evoke Lincolnshire at all. Where are the rape fields, the thunderflies, the line of power stations along the Trent valley?

Lincolnshire looks like a poo splattered tramp after a night on the gas which has been ironed as flat as crystal's chest.
