At Peace

Now I lay me down to sleep some peace my soul to find. None in life, some in death? Never again will I wake to feel this pain and this hate. Never again would I cry or wish to God that I'd die. Never listen to the yelling of how I screwed up again. Never hate myself again for not knowing what to say. Never will I feel their hate, words and stones thrown at me. Never feel the sting of self hatred and tears. Now I lay me down to sleep some peace my soul to find.
