Sunny Day (Free verse) by geewhiz1962
I opened my eyes one bright sunny day I looked for a friend, I had something to say I had dreamed that eve, it was special you see My world was happy, in my dreams such glee Why can't I have a friend with which I could share The happiness of dreams, one to make me part of a pair So many people, so little time, I wish I could share or not need this rhyme

Up the ladder: Hollow Dreams
Down the ladder: calling pain to the surface

I wish you didn't need the rhyme either. looking for something is better than waiting for nothing.
