Dear God; (Sonnet) by Jeremi B. Handrinos
God, I'll count the days between you and I Outlining your dark shape against the night Hear whilst I sleep that repetitive sigh? Searching for why I'm wrong when you are right Still I sing with no wings for you my lord While you keep me from your love night and day Even with magic and your secret wards My demons will keep no longer at bay Since you won't love me I feel I must go To hunt instead a love that I can keep Thank you for my name, and letting me know That until I find you there is no sleep Forgetting you lord will be a pleasure Love, your long lost and abandoned treasure.

Don't tell JB to shut up. He's a much better poet than anything you'll ever amount to. Once you post a single piece of poetry that's worthy of him wiping his ass with you can talk to him. Until that day you'll have to continue using your tongue to do it for him. Good day.

Oh and JB, I love this one.

a bird in a cage cannot fly.

That would depend on the size and type of bird and the size of the cage.
