the past is the past is past (Free verse) by phbiscuit
Running like water Every time it flashes My heart breathes morbidly Even though I know a lie for a lie Memories reorganize and disturb truth Bringing back a shadow for cloaking my life Eventually I will stumble and choke by my own weight Running like wildfire Leaving time charred Incinerating hope Forming an end Even for those who forget

Up the ladder: alone in winter
