PURPLE COWS (Other) by GAC
I've never seen a purple couch,
An old one or a new one;
But I'm not just any slouch,
I've sewn some pieces to one.
Cattle in the countryside
Come in many colors.
But the ones with purple hide
Don't graze with the others.
They graze along in pastures
Where purple clover grows,
And lilacs, violets and asters,
And drink grape juice from a hose.
Purple cows are rare, you know,
And treated with great care.
Where the purple pastures grow,
They could be living there.
So if you see a purple cow,
Tho thought you'd never see one,
I ask you, neighbor, anyhow,
Please to show to me one.
