Insomniac (Lyric) by GekoHawaii
I sit alone My candles bright As I depress Into the night My head is vacant Mind is gone And so it shall be 'till the dawn I've waited for A sign of life But going without So strengthens strife A cure is plain Within my view But I refuse To see it's hue Yet All I need Is one nights sleep But that's a promise I can't keep For going without Is nothing new As my depression Does accrue For sleep means quick'ning Next days pain And I don't want This false joy slain My anguish feeds This demon beast That finds in me An endless feast A demon that I can't let down For to me he is much renowned And so I'll sit And fear my past Unsure how deep Are scars I've cast

Up the ladder: I am your pea
Down the ladder: Blush Of The Winter Rose

This is a bit creepy, almost like a depressing nursery rhyme

This isn't that bad. I like "for sleep means quick'ning next days pain," but besides that there isn't anything that stellar about this. -6-
