I remember the summer of lived out dreams And the bond I had with you But summer memories, now ripped at the seams And I no longer know what to do Without you in my daily life I feel alone and afraid How do I overcome the strife Of losing the friendship God made I remember the summer of warmth and love I never doubted that you cared My angel, my Godsend, from above Thank you for all that we've shared.

A sweetly written piece. I know you must love to write but submitting 3 or 4 at a time won't get you that far. Contain your poetry and submit it in smaller, bitesize chunks and let us savour each morsel. Right I'm talking bollocks now, I'll shut up. Don't cheer.

Nice song anyway.
