Tears Falling (Free verse) by loneshadow29 gentle tear, born of sadness
caressing her cheek
trying to numb the pain
which ravages her broken heart
but alas, the wound she possesses
cannot be healed alone
so others come to its aid
stroking her cheek ever so softly
trying desperately to calm her
to heal her broken heart
but the pain is too great
her tears will not ease her suffering
so many tears falling in vain
no salvation for the fallen

Nice job with an overdone subject. You added something different to it..just what I can't put my finger on, but I like it.
