Meeting Fronts (Free verse) by emilyowey
Fingers chasing under rain Tapping puddles, pushing time Lambs and clouds and imperfection Immaculate yet dripping stains. Friendless flowers bow and tremble Radiate a timeless flow, Of lovely dirt and heinous silk. Toes are bouncing, padding, shuffling Water washing streets with mud. Sloshing in a sea of pure, clean drops Of thunder Noise boxes, cubes, round and smooth Teeth that gnaw At the sky But only for a second A flash of backward seeing nothing The tearing and nothingness and Light The luminous air is suppressing To the words that come. Then breathing begins again.

Up the ladder: Steel Wire Frame
Down the ladder: Me against Me
