A bit of a shocker this one. I think saying less on a subject of war says so much more at the moment because everyones a bit paranoid, concerned and disgusted and i for one feel so many thoughts, opinions, emotions inside about this damn war and your haiku says all it needs too, a diary of the times and no hint of patriotism (I am not saying you are not by the way) , smoke this: 8

I disagree, Cdcs. Somewhere between the rambling 'Oxywarmonger,' by PAKI, and this oblique haiku is the right length and quality of poem to sum up the war in Iraq. Who on this site is up to writing it? Methinks Zzin or DA.
i didn't carry a sign frass. my body, counted (or not), was my mute protest. i do not think i am up to it.
if, in writing it, i could end it, i would.
It is a sad day when you read a poem and have no clue what it is about. Oxywarmonger has nothing to do with the war in Iraq. It is not a Liberal Lament 2003. It may ramble (I am working on that), but to lump it as some sort of protest poem is to simply show the ineffectiveness of your ability to interpret the text properly. You have been editing way too much technical writing.
