200 footsteps in deep snow
The swan wing edge of a frozen lake
You rolled by like a slow freight train
Laden and alive
Caught up in swirls of snow
Dealing with the Ten Thousand Things
Open and empty
The snow taught me your silence
In that moment I understood
Life is like the swirls of snow
Your soul the deep, frozen lake

I like the way it sounds..."you rolled by like a slow freight train" I like the tone and feeling of the poem. Its a bit simple for though the poem its self is a deep metaphor..I almost wish it was longer but I still think its great!!
