Blossoms (Free verse) by phbiscuit
Remembering well The soft petals Of new blossoms falling With the sweet smell of sadness Drops of grief Puddle in my hands Reminding nature to be Merciful in its beauty Wind twirls the fallen flowers Sweeping up sensations Now in my hands Splashed against the ground Grief, love, and hope Settle the dust Breezes stir once more Blossoms and dust alike Float away together Their dance Blossom and dust Beauty and dismay A bittersweet reminder Of my watching pretty trees And letting you float away

Up the ladder: power
Down the ladder: O' Girl!
