Quadroons (Limerick) by Shardik
{limericks a two} A young man alone in his chair Did wheelies 'til someone would care That his legs were just nobs Two corn on the cobs 'twas a horrible ad for shoe wear. Not to mention he was black as night With more than a mouthful to bite But he was strange fruit And a lynch worthy brute Have you seen Jane Fonda in Klute? [haiku bonus] Handicap sticker Man pulls into parking lot Black with his white teeth

I've never known a quadroon to be as black as night.
