At one point my life didn't make sense But that was in a past tense Once a simple crush, Looking beyond the temptation of lust... You just wanted someone to hold on to I needed something I couldn't afford to lose Then faith intervened, And all went well as it hopefully seemed (Chorus) It?s to you that I look forward The one who won't ever let me down But the simple thing that I have learned That everything fell into place since you were found Love didn't sound right at the time But now it's the melody in life's little rhyme With a relationship so intimate No time for embarrassment It was all within our hearts No force too strong to split us apart As long as we had it our way in life Only you and me with great things in sight (Chorus) (Bridge) So if I could only get to send you this letter Writing with meaning and a pen Showing appreciation like sunny weather Just trying to make you smile again... (Chorus x2)
