The Galenoi Saga (Other) by galiana
the galenoi, an ancient tribe
from chiaros, in fairest greece
no coward white their forebear was
but he who plucked the golden fleece
they upon the ocean sailed
as one across the sundering sea
in many caravels they rode
to rome, in warlike italy
in roma many years they stayed
settled down to raise a family
till one year war between them came
the galenoi were forced to flee
whither now, the women cried
and wept until the men did say
to andalusia in spain
come now, fair wives, we go away
in spain princes they all became
though they did this by no ruse
for many moons they spent in spain
their blood mixed with that of andalus
the moors then came and stole the land
the galenoi were forced to leave
to bayonne, in france, they moved in force
and swore that to the land they'd cleave
years brought battles two on two
the galenoi soldiers became
their sires, bernart and raimbaut fair
fought bravely and did win them fame
till one year plague upon the land
a blight it was did settle down
galiana left, the only one
galiana left to win renown
