insomnia plunge (Free verse) by pomoxo
Night licks me off the thoughts of other human beings; They scratch out my sadness w/ sleep while I tweak through the quiet they create when they shut off their mediums and discontinue translations, the soft watery cinema projections that cloud the world like the stooping fog I now watch smother the valley- The film of silence that suspends All the structures, all the debts on which the lies and limits depend; And I'm awake to simmer in, summer down, crush, expand & watch so far into it all.

Down the ladder: Someone
