Companionship (Free verse) by milkymilk
Time and time again, it shows As this bond grows and glows Is she truly my soul mate? This connection is almost like fate So many things we have related And when we find out, it makes us elated Often scary at times but very astounding It?s a shock yes, but very exciting As if we were two jigsaw pieces of strife We fit together in this intricate puzzle we call life She makes me complete She?s my equal or even more, she is elite! My companion, my sister, my counterpart Her personality is more precious than a work of art Even more than that, she is priceless! If I may confess, I tremble at her caress I wake up, and in my mind, she?s there I think about her, my heart assuaged, because I know she cares I care for her, I?ll stand for her, and I?ll sacrifice for her Many elements may obstruct us, but I stand strong without a stir To worry and care about her I will never resign My care for her is like drawing a line Infinite points that never ends Not only she is my equal, she is my friend And I love her even if she hurts me someday And I stand by my word, words I won?t turn away I uphold them and I would die for them!! Because she is my angel? she is my equal? she is my companion.

A little too sappy for my taste but you have some
good lines.
