sweet dreams (Free verse) by wolfgang
In the darkness the candle is illuminated, the shadows enter the room uninvited. Who are you in the closet? Keep back, at times you are not welcomed. I reach for my soul, and bring the pipe to my lips. I invite my friends out for a talk and a dance. Share with me your thoughts, I feel the same. The night is long and my friends are leaving. The candle flickers and I see them looking back. The light has exhausted, and my friends are gone, the music has ended. Lying down, looking up, my soul leaves. Alone again. When will I dance again? I can not see you, I miss you. I reach for my soul, and illuminate a candle.

how in the fuck do you illuminate a candle? with a spotlight, and your use of the past tense in the present would make a real german like mozart, chew his way through bone dirt and wood to find you, to chew!
