alms (Free verse) by famenglory CRY a tear of blood for me
as i come to you in sorrow
'tis two days since I last did confess
to you whose hands pray to your
God
and mutter strange musings
as you see what is done over the blue line
The blue line that produced the Red
Clasp your hands and look skyward
for me.
tell me I'm okay and that
I need to stop
because HE has a plan
So bow your head and don't
forget to leave money in the alms box
