A Promise (Free verse) by javelinne
I've always searched those same eyes Those same vague dreams Those tears of the past. . .fear nothing Not even the damp morning mist Nor the chill of the evening breeze Those hands brimming with light Shall touch the world with warmth And those wings against a storm Eternally they shall soar We shall glide along distant waves Until the end of this journey As I ease your pain and gloom I shall breathe forever with thee

Down the ladder: finally found you
