the barriers between us finally broke
to have others put up
u listened to other people instead of ur heart
and by u not listening to urs
u hurt mine
i never liked a gurl as much as i did u
but i wasnt hurt by a gurl as much as i was by u
i looked at ur chest to see if my heart was there
but it wasnt
then and there i knew my love wasnt to be returned
it was to be left in a box on a drawer
a gurl could never have it

I think the gurl hit the poor ole ma with a fryin' pan. Whaddya thinkin'? It was the furst in (insert schwa here)long line ofa gurls to pound and pound on the poor ma who didda nuthin but knit all the day long.
