Legend (Free verse) by ThoughtfulSoul
With darkness approaching Only the light may fight. Those who have decided what their fate is and what their future holds. The darkness takes no prisoner and won't be denied on what they feel is theirs. The light will surpass all obstacles and will not give in to the shadows. I sometimes wonder is my will strong enough to join the light, Or has my heart been turned to the color of nightfall. My dreams confuse me, they blurr the lines of good and evil. They give no sign to my salvation or my damnation, and in the end I will.... Hopefully my legend will be the one people look at for inspiration and not look down upon in disgrace

Once again a universal theme thwarted by lack of story. How did you stubble upon these revalations? that's what you need to be writing down. How you feel or what philosophy you have developed is only the theme, which because we all share these insights is a very boring read. Give me the account of what happened, I was not there, and so am interested in your experience. I am not interested in you telling me how you feel, but what caused you to feel. What dream? I want to know your dream, not your evaluation of it
