BITTER AND TWISTED (Free verse) by HANCEKW
BITTER AND TWISTED, BROKEN AND BENT. WE WERE TWO LOVERS, SOME SAY HEAVEN SENT, IN THE BEGINNING, AT THE START, HAND IN HAND NEVER TO PART. OVER THE MOON, IN LOVE AND SOON, MARRIAGE AND CHILDREN, OUR LOVE A BALLOON. INFLATED BY DAY, WITH AFFECTION AND MORE TO DIZZY HEIGHTS, OUR HEARTS WOULD SOAR. TILL ONE DAY, WITH THE MENTION OF LOVE. THE, I DONT ANYMORE, HIT LIKE A GLOVE, DEALT HARD AND FAST, FROM A BOXERS RIGHT HAND. NO MORE THE GLOW ON THE FINGER OF THE ONCE WEDDING BAND. TWO LIVES WERE IN TATTERS, THE YOUNG CHILDRENS TOO BECAUSE THERE WAS NO MORE AFFECTION IN VIEW. PARTED, DEPARTED, NO MORE WILL WE SEE. THE YOU AND I, THAT USED TO BE WE.

Up the ladder: Wheelin' N Rockin'
Down the ladder: blues
