Reverie (Free verse) by dilips_10
Even as I am talking now, I have this world of my own A magical place Built on aims; powered by urges. Players in it are the people around. Things in it are the things I want. Settings in it are the events I wish. Where enemies are my fears. And friends are my peers. Even as I am talking right now, I live in this magical place Cherishing its sweetness; rejoicing it every moment. Reverie, how nice you are to me. When I get up from deep slumber, I consciously doze off again To let none disturb sometime To live in this magical place. Life may be different from what I want Things may not turn out, as I wish But I can always taste success, And have this smug feeling, Living my dreams; far from reality. Reverie, thanks to you.
