Come Night time (Free verse) by anitawit
(10.10.95) Come night time- Fragrant stars bloom on dark velvet branches And drip silently To a pile As the evening tree dips Its fingers onto the earth Come night time- Suspended in the heart of unfathomable blue Diamonds in the sky Throb serenely with self-contained light Come night time- And windows of light Glow in the dark valleys below Little pinpoints of light are everywhere; Valiant spurts of life, secure eternally In the matrix of death.

Up the ladder: Corpse's Crescendo

You seem to have been inspired and it shows, I was wondering if the little pinpoints of light were the eyes of a dormouse about to be slaughtered in the matrix?
