A lighthouse (Free verse) by emilyowey A lighthouse shines behind your eyes
Darkness leads my way.
Brightness shades the ebony pool
Of clarity and strength.
I look to you to guide me through,
The miry rocky sea.
At time I sink below the break
Of water wind and sky.
But still I look to you, your eyes
To guide me home again.
You radiate security.
Your heart is calling me.
I'm drawn to you,
I'm drawn to life.
My life is linked to you.
Shine anew for me.
Let not the flame be shut to me.
Close not your shuttered eyes.
I look to you so look to me,
Your eyes do light my life.
