The Office (Free verse) by ellisonandrew
This silence is killing me these faces that never change a room of inadequacy a room full of lost dreams spiralling down that little bit further each day surely you have something to say? stifled and ugly this atmosphere tightens the grip on my throat the futile emptyness emphasised by the lack of communication tea anyone? ah tea the drink that breaks the ice and the faces crack and they converse with each other at last I decline the offer liquid refreshment every hour or so oh for it to be so simple tea must be the difference between them and me I must try it someday

Up the ladder: Youth Fair
Down the ladder: Wind Whisper

Funny and so so true! The first stanza is the strongest. You should print this poem out and hang it on your office wall then see the faces crack!
