the peace and tranquility
the complete futility
that lies deep inside of me
The storm comes so rapidly
and takes a control of me
and washes me away hoplessly
and soaks me relentlessly
this war without words
this acceptance of pointlessness
is holding me up quietly
while you drift away from me
and theres nothing I can do
thats what I tell myself anyway
I've nothing left for you
as you walk away

This got me! Brilliant up to the last stanza where the rhythm and flow need a little work as it doesn't fit in so well with the rest of the poem. other than that, a heart felt piece with carefully selected choice of words. Nice one!
