The Deep Dark Light (Free verse) by seebergerb
Before you sleep, dream of the fields you left behind, the deserts you never felt, you wilderness you yearned for, and keep that locked inside your heart, just for you, and every now and then, hearken back for the briefest of moments, just to taste what you wish you always had, and what you wished, like a locket around your neck.

Up the ladder: The Kipps
Down the ladder: Coming Back

one spelling error (You wilderness you yearned for?). Also- mixed
metaphors, don't work together- taste what you wanted and a locket around your neck? Needs work.
