Worth the wait (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
I have unloaded my cars, leaning on a post I wait for someone to check them in. A mother passes me, carrying her son, and six feet behind her a small, denim jacketed, pink leg warmed, white tennis shoed, blue bereted little girl follows. A singular high white balloon carries her with teddy bear in arm. I find myself jealous.

This is interesting, the piece I posted first, I thought to be the better piece. This one's getting all the attention. Hmmmm.

A very tender little skech. Simple and honest. By the way, I was interested in what you said about me sounding as if I'd worked on the road - I never have. What is it about my work that makes you think I have?

It smacks of a working class background.

And how are you today, -=Dark_Angel=-?

Your last piece hits close to how it feels to live in a truck for long periods of time.
