Mendacity (Free verse) by kiki
Lies surface in the noses of old women, the blistered veins of angered daisies, wheels of infants, infants lovers, the hollowed tubes of signage and colons. Yet they continue to walk about this place in pairs. As if the sky were yellow. As if the mind is safe.

Up the ladder: Little wishing well
Down the ladder: Hold Tight

i can't quite place this style. it's somewhere between jim morrison (yuk) and the surrealists (slightly less horrible). so impersonal, though, that's it's hard to connect with. reminds me of snorting ritalin and talking in circles and writing it down. those were the days.
