Some Suburban Clarity (Free verse) by antoniojl
Before this kiss, doused in high bliss, Can twist our passion'd minds together, Or our eyes can close, love-lifted, By rose-hot desires... Let's be clear on the semantics. That Forever is a very, very long time, That Marriage is a legally binding contract, And that Love is a word invented by philosophers and used by fools.

Up the ladder: What Matters
Down the ladder: In the Light

WOW! I really liked this. I love the way you set this up. It seems to me to be very effective in that it feels like a movement between two people. Very well done!
