One liners for the ladies (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
I saw you in the clouds today. You winked. I smiled. I'm seeing a lot of you in our kids. That means there's more of you for me to enjoy. The clover feeds bees honey, the way you feed my soul.

Sweet stuff; I'm reminded of Rob Roy, from the movie, before all that dang 'have at you' and such.

I guess people some times forget that love can be found anywhere, not just in the bedroom. Thanks.

I especially like the middle stanza - this is very generous hearted.

Thanks Cristof, I have 30 of these darn things right now and have no clue what to do with them. Not to mention I can crank these out all day long. It wasn't meant to be a poem, just oneliners. If you've got an idea, I'm all eyes.

I can think of a few things you could do with them.

Ok Dark Angel, I'm listening.

Why not write them all down on coloured paper and make a beautiful mounted collage? I'm sure it would make a wonderful gift for someone very special!

Alternatively, you could put all existing copies of your 'one liners' in an receptacle and set them on fire. Then you could set yourself on fire. Then no-one would have to read them again.

Ok then, can I borrow some gasoline?

I knew someone was going to say that about the middle stanza. Just because it has the words 'our kids' in it. You wouldn't think it was so special if it said 'our ethnic minorities' instead, would you? You filthy racist! I hate you! I HATE YOU!
[7] Christof @ 195.172.133.226 > -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. | 21-Oct-02/6:07 AM | Reply
But why not? Wouldn't that be a way of saying that he sees his love in the faces of all nations? Wouldn't be, ahem, 'beautiful'?
[n/a] -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. @ 131.111.245.180 > Christof | 21-Oct-02/9:42 AM | Reply
faces? no. faeces? yes.

I think it is you who are the racist, you for whom the phrase 'ethnic monorities' is a TABOO and HATEFUL.
[n/a] -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. @ 131.111.245.180 > Christof | 21-Oct-02/9:44 AM | Reply
Since I do not know what 'ethnic monorities' are, I couldn't possibly comment. Good day to you, Sir.

Truganine was an ethnic monority.

'Ethnic monorities' are the ame as 'ethnic moronities', sir.

they are quite clearly not the same. the first is in the singular, the second could be applied to millions as one saw fit

Don't you hide behind the smokescreen of my typographical error, you rapscallion, you know I have you on the run.

The clover doesn't so much feed honey as affect it. would it work as
The clover affects the honey
The way you affect my soul.

That's very true. The bees produce honey having fed on clover. Hmm. I should've noticed that!

I agree, I should take a little more time when I create these. Maybe I could make enough of them to bury Dark Angel alive! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA..... I guess I have to fight her/him/it whether I want to or not.
