I wonder when I look upon the stars Looking very far Still thinking where you are Maybe you're traveling down in a car Or you are doing that striptease thing down at a bar I wonder if those scars still hurt When they called you a flirt Then they made you take off your shirt I wasn't there... And I wonder still about that promise I made I thought it was as easy as cake But I didn't make it to our date I wasn't there... Looking up in the sky While you have that tear in your eye But still that was a long time And my love is worth a dime I wonder about that day When you left me for your ways Just because my job had low pay Left me without a word to say I wonder when nothing would fit We would talk and sit And while people looked at your tits I'd help you out of your bottomless pit Bit by bit, until the way was lit And I still wonder of what I miss I even made a long, long list But tall I want was your kiss... Even if my love wasn't a lie I still never wanted to try But still that was a long time And my love is only worth a dime I wonder when you had me turned on Back then we had a lot of fun That only lasted until we were twenty-one And by then you were gone I wonder when we were at the dance I still remember feeling your hands Reaching very down into my ass And barely wonder why you left me You just want me to see That you will be free So I left you to let it be I do miss you and I do cry I didn't get to say bye But that was a long time And you are still mine

Rhyme seems forced and contrived. Suggest a revision on this but has potential.
